Filming and surfing in Norway, sweden and Portugal-ERICEIRA
I recently got back from a month long trip around Europe, visiting, Sweden, Noway and Portugal. I was shooting two separate jobs, the first being the Doggerland Film about the north sea and the second being promotional films for Ericeira Seasound hostel and Ericeira tourism. The people I have met and places I have experienced, have made shooting a pleasure and quite a breeze. Being surrounded by, mountains, waves, snow, amazing people and nature at its best has made me love my job that much more. My kit consisted of my canon 5d mkii, a variety of lenses, Glidetrack Hybrid, tripod, Interval meter (for time-lapse Photography) and my mac book pro. Amazingly enough this is enough kit to create something pretty spectacular.
I’m currently working on the edit for Portugal’s, Ericeira Tourism video which is coming along nicely. From those of you that are use to my work you will know that I approach things from a slightly different angle. I do not like commercial, corporate looking films so when I get put in a position to advertise something I tend to add my own twist and make it a little more organic and visual. I did not get into this business to advertise, I have done it to inspire people.
This video is aimed to inspire people to visit this Beautiful little surf town in Portugal called Ericeira.
I wont give away to much about the place but here’s a few frame Grabs from the Ericeira tourism video which I am currently working on and will be released soon. A full tech spec and write up of this beautiful town and experience will come with the finshed product so Keep an eye out.

Congrats! You made a very good job about Ericeira. The place is definitely gorgeous. The waves, the locals, the seafood…as it is most of the Portuguese eastern coast, which I know very well.
I’ve been looking for someone able to capture a place on a video, but unfortunately in general videos look fake to me and I get disappointed as I feel the inspiration is not there. It simply don’t works for my “audience” as it doesn’t to me. That’s why most of the times I prefer photos. Shame we haven’t met during your visit to Portugal.

Well this is the first website I have ever created… im pretty new to it. I just downloaded a them from organic themes and customised the hole thing. I just used tutorials etc to figure the hole thing out… its pretty simple once you get going. Im no web building genius… my art is in film making so dont have much knowledge about web design but from my experience of building this simple site its pretty easy when you purchase a theme. Hope this helps
